First, I always wear an N95 mask in public. As a chemist at a public health laboratory, I see the widespread, ongoing prevalence of many respiratory viruses, and I recognize the prudence of wearing this protection when around others.

I recently needed to get an MRI, and I learned that you cannot wear any metal during an MRI. The traditional N95 masks I wear have a nose wire… making them unwearable during the procedure.

I discovered these masks during an internet search, and I reached out to get a sample of the masks for sizing. Due to the short lead time for the MRI, the customer service at Readimask went out of their way to ensure that I had the needed masks before my MRI.

During the MRI, I wore an XL mask. It was very comfortable. No ear loops. No nose wire, yet a confidently sealed mask due to the mild adhesive which holds it to your face and chin.

I recommend these masks to anyone who needs one for an MRI or who has problems with the ear loops. The masks are effective. The customer service was superb.

One last note for company feedback: I only got the yellow masks, but I would much prefer a grey or black one if more colors are being considered.

XL size works best for our family for the adults. Wish that the gray version comes back...as mentioned in another review, the yellow stands out too much in a public / non-clinical setting.

This is bar far the best everyday mask I have used. I wear it anytime I am out and about and it’s comfortable, effective, and completely seals. I do hope the grey version returns though. The yellow attracts a lot of attention.
